During the global coronavirus pandemic, we are facing a tragic loss of life, often under very difficult circumstances. Bereaved people may have to deal with increased trauma, and may be cut off from some of their usual support networks, and those who are already struggling with bereavement, or whose relatives or friends die through other causes may also be affected.

Losing someone important to us can be emotionally devastating - whether that is a partner, family member, friend, or pet. It is natural to go through a range of physical and emotional processes as we gradually come to terms with the loss.

It is important to remember that there is no right or wrong way to feel following a loss, and there is no time limit on grief. So give yourself time to heal and come to terms with your loss. It is vital that you take care of yourself, because when you feel healthy physically, you will be better able to cope emotional.
