Since we posted this page on 25th May, the government have made an announcement about their advice. 

The government now say that: 

• This is only advice, and not law
• The rules for the affected areas are the same as everywhere else in England 
• People will not get into trouble if they visit these areas
• The advice is to try and help people keep themselves, and others, safe
