How can I help the people in Ukraine?

The people of the United Kingdom are standing with Ukraine. Across the country, everyone wants to do their bit to support those who have been forced to flee their homes.

The safest way to help is to donate to the Disasters Emergency Committee. They are a group of charities who will use donations to provide food, water, shelter and healthcare to refugees and displaced families.

The UK Government matched, pound-for-pound, £25 million of public donations to this appeal.
