...and contribute to a community gallery!

Love Arts, a Leeds arts and mental well-being organisation, is creating a community gallery for Armley in Leeds. It's all about caring arms and they are looking for contributions from local people

The project is open to people of all ages who live or work in Armley, Leeds. They are looking for all forms of artwork and creativity including painting, poetry, photography, textiles etc around the theme of 'caring arms'

The community gallery team are also looking for a ‘caring arms’ image as a design for a number of small mosaics, which will then be created by local people.

Wellbeing

Art engagement and being creative is extremely beneficial to your wellbeing as it helps alleviate anxiety, depression and stress! Plus contributing towards a community project can help combat loneliness.

See the guide for further details on how you can get involved this October!
