This years Mental Health Awareness Week takes place from Monday 9th - Sunday 15th May. It's an annual awareness week, hosted by Mental Health Foundation and provides an opportunity for the country to focus on achieving good mental health.

The theme for 2022 is loneliness and the impact on our mental health. We think it's a really relevant theme following the Covid-19 pandemic, as many autistic people have experienced struggles with their mental health and feelings of loneliness and isolation.

So we're planning a fun week of activities aiming to combat loneliness and help people build connections and form friendships.

What's On

We have a different activity planned for each day of the week from group walk & talks to gardening, games, music and get together coffee morning. Check out our schedule of events:

Start Your Journey to Better Mental Health

It's important we all take steps to look after our mental health and connecting with others is a great way to start!

Connecting with people helps to reduce loneliness and essential in reminding ourselves that we are important and valued by others.

Having good relationships can make us feel happy and boost self esteem. Connecting is about being there for others, talking, listening, and feeling a sense of belonging.
